Sexual Content and Exploitation
Tapnudge is not a place for pornography, sexual harassment, non-consensual sexual content, or any sexual content involving minors.
What this means for nudges
Nudges should never be used to sexualize a person, pressure someone into sharing intimate material, or invite others to judge someone sexually. Polls can feel casual, but a sexual nudge can still cause real harm.
Not allowed
- Any content that sexualizes or exploits minors, including real, fictional, synthetic, AI-generated, or manipulated material.
- Nudges asking users to rate, rank, shame, or discuss someone sexually.
- Pornographic or explicitly sexual images, text, requests, links, or offers.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual extortion, revenge porn, or threats to expose intimate content.
- Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual comments, or nudges designed to pressure someone into a sexual response.
Context that may still be removed
- Non-explicit adult nudity if it is confusing, exploitative, posted without consent, or not appropriate for Tapnudge.
- Health, education, or art-related content if it is framed in a sexualized or harassing way.
Enforcement
Severe sexual harm, especially anything involving minors or non-consensual intimate content, can lead to immediate removal, account action, and reports to appropriate authorities where required.
Questions and Examples
Can I ask if an outfit looks good?
Yes, if the nudge is respectful and not sexualized. Keep the question about style, fit, color, or preference rather than someone’s body or sexual appeal.
Can I post a screenshot someone sent me privately?
Do not post private or intimate material without consent. Even if you have the image, you may not have the right to share it.
